DIA SIMMS

CO-FOUNDER, PRONGHORN

Dia Simms is the Executive Chairwoman of the Board of Lobos 1707 Tequila & Mezcal; where she previously served as CEO, since the spirits brand that launched in November 2020. In May 2021, Simms Co-Founded Pronghorn, a 10-year initiative to drive diversity, equity and inclusion in the spirits industry. Pronghorn, backed by the world’s leading spirits producer, Diageo, seeks to help participants within the Black community achieve the goal of generating $2 billion in economic value.

ERIN HARRIS

CO-FOUNDER, PRONGHORN

Erin Harris is a world class marketer with extensive experience building brands. Erin brings innovation and strategic thinking to the table and is known for an ability to build savvy consumer brands that have commercial success. She leverages the insights of experience with real world trends to deliver high impact brand propositions. In addition to being the cofounder of Pronghorn, Erin is currently serving as the Chief Brand Officer of Lobos 1707, an independent tequila & mezcal spirits brand.

RACHEL WILSON

PROJECT WELLSPRING

Rachel is an operations and venture capital expert with over a decade of experience across industries like F&B, tech, behavioral health and media. She serves as part of the GP and is Managing Partner for The BFM Fund where she leads fund operations and Investment reporting. She advocates for diversity in VC, mentoring diverse founders and serving on the board of Black Women in VC, is a NAIC Women in Alternatives Fellow and Co-Lead for Living Cities Inclusive Capital Council. Rachel is dedicated to empowering underrepresented entrepreneurs and diverse fund managers.

BROOKE DANIELS

PROJECT WELLSPRING

Brooke has over 15 years of experience as a go-to-market leader in Silicon Valley tech and as a real estate, angel, and VC investor, including as a Director for Salesforce Ventures, a $5B fund where she led portfolio development and their strategy to invest in underrepresented founders.  She is also a Founding Partner of Eleos Capital Group, a $50M real estate fund focused on mortgage notes.

 

Brooke is a passionate advocate in the VC and real estate ecosystems driving initiatives focused on more equitable representation and equitable access to capital and investment opportunities.  She is also a steering committee member, mentor, and advisor for organizations such as BLCK VC, TechStars, Pharrell William’s Black Ambition, Cap Table Coalition, Justice Technology Association, and RevTech Labs.  Through her consulting work, Brooke has helped her clients raise over $75M in venture capital.

Tulani Watkins is an accomplished business operator with expertise in media, technology, and construction. Her professional journey includes significant roles at Meta, Creative Artists Agency, Melvina Ventures, and Terrazas Roofing. As a startup founder and angel investor, Tulani has successfully deployed over $550,000 in BIPOC founders. Her passion lies in driving business growth through strategic planning, project management, and operational efficiency, significantly enhancing revenue and brand equity for micro-enterprises and organizations.
